Minasan is a fashion brand that I created to spread a positive message of being able to express yourself and showing people how to be true to their own identity. Using photoshop, indesign and illustrator I constructed a stand-out poster displaying intense colours such as red and blue, along with achieving a DIY look using overlapping tape.

The Logo Process
When conceiving my brand I picked the name Minasan which in japanese translates to ‘everyone’. Using this to my advantage I included the Japanese text in my logo envisioning the look of inclusivity along with flipping half the text, making it more playful and inviting.
Another benefit to my design is I wanted to keep it simple with its font and black text, as well to counter the bright and bold design that would be my poster
